SAP EBP Analyst - Central Ohio

EBP AnalystPosition Summary:EBP Analyst is responsible for participating in the development, maintenance and enhancement of the purchasing application using SRM EBP and SAP MM. Under the guidance of SAP Purchasing Manager, he/she will collaborate with outside vendors and IT colleagues to define detailed requirements. The primary function is to provide prompt support to business users, resolve SAP SRM - EBP and MM issues and recommend technical/application strategies. EBP experience is preferred but not necessary. Must be a quick learner. Company will provide in-house training to the qualified candidate.Key Work Performed:•Maintain EBP Application (User creation, hierarchy maintenance, resolve issues)•Cross-function/system error resolution — EBP to SAP R/3 MM•Collaborate with Vendors in rolling out new Catalogs to the business users•Provide technical expertise within an assigned business unit/area, usually as a member of a project team, in the analysis, design and development of business applications.•Collect and analyze business requirements for large, multifunctional projects. Identify conflicting business practices and integration issues, suggesting alternative solutions.•Perform feasibility studies, translating requirements into an appropriate design.•Formulate and define application scope and objectives; devise and modify procedures to solve business problems.QualificationsMinimum RequirementsA. Education:Bachelor’s degree in Information Services or business-related (functional)discipline (accounting, finance, etc.), with and understanding of programmingconcepts. In lieu of a Bachelors Degree, an individual with business-relatedexperience will be considered.B. Experience:One (1) year of SAP EBP experience is preferred but not necessary.Experience with addressing help desk issues in areas of expertise and assisting with user problems in associated areas.Experience with structured design, development and implementation of new computing architecture.C. Knowledge:• Knowledge or project management techniques is required, (cross-functional experience is highly desirable)• Conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies in a client server environment.D. Skills and Abilities/ Competencies:• A quick learner with strong analytical abilities.• Strong technical knowledge, with hands-on experience managing systemsdevelopment in new computing architectures and environments (e.g. client/server Web); knowledge of relevant technology, tools, and middleware is critical.• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.• Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.• Good project management skills, operating as part of a team organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation.• Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks.• An understanding of SAP R/3 is desirable.• Thorough business understanding in one or more functional areas, as well as an understanding of the organization’s industry.

Salary Range: $75,000 - 90,000
