SAP LE/RFID Analyst - Columbus OH

Opportunity Summary:

RFID Analyst will be responsible for participating in the development, maintenance and enhancement of RFID technology in the current supply chain and logistics environment. Under the guidance of a Business Application Manager, he/she will collaborate with internal logistics customers and IT colleagues to define customer requirements, access available technologies like RFID and implementation of these technologies. The primary function is to support and integrate RFID technology into our supply chain. Collaborate with our external customers and integration of this technology in US and Europe.

Key Work Performed:
" Perform feasibility studies, translating requirements into an appropriate technical design using RFID technology. Provide technical support within an assigned business unit/area. Perform analysis, design and development of business applications.
" Provide technical support on project or system issues. Configure RFID functionalities to satisfy business requirements.
" Collect and analyze business requirements for med-large and multifunctional projects. Identify conflicting business practices and integration issues, suggesting alternative solutions.
" Formulate and define application scope and objectives; devise and modify procedures to solve business problems.
" Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
" Lead small projects or regularly coach other project personnel to ensure business application systems are developed in a way that complies with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices.
" Monitor and report to management on the status of project efforts, anticipating/identifying issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals and implementing corrective actions.
" Foster and maintain good relationships with customers and IT colleagues to meet expected customer service levels.
" Other assigned responsibilities necessary for completion of IS mission.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

A. Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Services or business-related (functional) discipline (warehousing, distribution, etc.) with an understanding of programming concepts. In lieu of a a Bachelor's degree, and individual with business-related experience.
B. Experience:
" At least 2 to 5 years of SAP experience, focused on the LE modules with emphasis in warehousing. Knowledge of RFID technology preferred.
" Experience with addressing help desk issues in areas of expertise and assisting with user problems in associated areas.
" Experienced in taking a conceptual warehouse design and implementing in SAP.
" Experience in the Consumer Products Industry or in a production/service environment. Experience in a large retail warehouse environment would also be considered.
" Experience with structured design, development and implementation of new computing architecture.

Knowledge:
Knowledge or project management techniques is required, (cross-functional experience is highly desirable)
Conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies in a client server environment.

D. Skill and Abilities/Competencies:
" Strong technical knowledge, with hands-on experience managing systems development in new computing architectures and environments (e.g. WAS, SAPConsole, SAPWebConsole, RF); knowledge of relevant technology, tools, and middleware is critical.
" Able to understand and debug complex Abap code. Familiarization with object oriented code would be considered a plus.
" Strong verbal and written communication skills, with and ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
" Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.
" Good project management skills, operating as part of a team organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation.
" Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks.
" Comprehensive understanding of SAP's customizing toolset, including IMG (Implementing Management Guide)
" SAP configuration skills in one or more modules, including LE.
" Solid understanding of SAP's data model in one or more functional areas, including LE.
" Thorough business understanding in one or more functional areas, as well as an understanding of the organization's industry.
" Familiarity with SAP architecture.
