Manager SAP FICO

The Business Application manager oversees all development and support activities for the specified application area. This person provides leadership, direction, and technical expertise to associates, outsourcing partners and consultants. They assist with the career development for direct reports. They partner with the business to understand processes and requirements and insure the delivery of high-quality technology solutions.

Key Work Performed:
• Provide program oversight for all ongoing projects within assigned areas managing overall project commitments and delivery.
• Gather detail requirements from business users for approved large-scale projects and small enhancements to existing systems.
• Perform design for approved large-scale projects and small enhancements to existing systems.
• Provide expert technical direction to IS associates including direct reports and outsourcing partners.
• Interface with business stakeholders, IT Infrastructure teams, and other application teams to ensure the delivery of technology solutions that meet business requirements.
• Provide for the overall career development of direct reports by conducting performance reviews, establishing/tracking annual goals, and developing/obtaining a personal development plan.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing with the business client.
• Coordinate training and rollout plans for new systems or enhancements to existing systems.

Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or Management Information Systems

Experience:
• Experience managing a team of SAP experts and or developers.
• Demonstrated leadership in the design, development and deployment of complex systems in support of cross-functional processes.
• 5+ years hands-on configuration experience implementing SAP R/3 Finance and Controlling in Fortune 500 clients.
• 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations including an in-depth understanding of SAP integration and ASAP methodology.
• Experience in other SAP R/3 modules and SAP HR or SAP CRM a plus.
• Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry.

Knowledge:
• Knowledge of project management practices and techniques.
• A “hands on” functional expert in the R/3 Finance and Controlling modules with the ability to configure and trouble shoot.
• Deep knowledge of the Finance and Controlling modules and integration to SD, MM, PP, and HR.
• Deep knowledge of the R/3 Enhancement Concept including Data Dictionary and CMOD enhancements.
• Fundamental understanding of Workflow, IDOC’s, and EDI support.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
• Strong project management skills, with experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors and vendors.
• Strong abilities in relationship management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multidiscipline, high-performance work teams and development groups.
• Demonstrated competency in the execution and prioritize multiple projects, including managing resources across multiple projects to meet goals.
• Abilities to develop efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.

$$ 90,000 - 105,000 Base + 15% target bonus
